  • What size projects can PowerFly handle?
    We can handle any size Behind-the-Meter solar PV project. There is no limit to the size or power we can measure, but we are not yet approved to provide Front-of-the-Meter monitoring and SCADA systems.
  • Do you offer a cellular connection?
    Yes, every PowerFly is shipped with an industrial 4G cellular modem and data plan for a plug-and-play experience. Our cellular services work on both AT&T and T-Mobile nationwide 4G networks. We have international data plans as well.
  • What inverters does PowerFly integrate with?
    Any SunSpec inverter will work out of the box with the PowerFly. Additionally, we have custom integrations with Delta, Solectria/Yaskawa, Chint and SolarEdge. We can quickly add a new integration if needed for a small fee.
  • Can I connect PowerFly to WiFi?
    Actually, you never need to use WiFi, run extensive ethernet cabling back to a router, or worry about passwords because each PowerFly comes with it’s own, dedicated cellular service. Once the PowerFly is powered up it automatically connects to the internet and to the PowerFly Cloud.
  • What voltages does PowerFly handle?
    Any standard voltage in North America, 120/240, 120/208 or 277/480V AC services can be used. We have a universal power converter inside each PowerFly to handle any voltage.
  • Do you provide revenue-grade metering?
    Yes, we can supply a Revenue Grade Accuracy: IEC 62053-22 0.5s Class / ANSI C12.20 0.5 Class meter for any size project. We supply the required revenue grade CTs and the meter is pre-programmed and pre-wired into the PowerFly box. If needed/required, we can supply a Revenue grade: ANSI C12.20 class 0.1 & IEC 62053-22 class 0.1s meter.
  • How does you warranty work?
    We typically warranty our hardware gateways for 5 years as long as the hardware was ordered with a 5-year service subscription. For more details, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
  • How long does it take for PowerFly to be delivered?
    For most projects we can usually ship a PowerFly out in 4 weeks or less. For larger bulk orders we usually need about 6 weeks.
  • How long does it take to install PoerFly?
    2 – 4 hours is the typical installation time, and most of that time is spent wiring up the power supply and connecting the inverter communication cabling. The PowerFly itself requires no field configurations or programming and all internal components are pre-wired. Just bring in the power supply and communication cables and you are done.
  • Do you offer installation services?
    We can provide a turnkey installation by working with one of our licensed sub-contractor partners in California only.
  • When was Verify Energy founded?
    We began building the PowerFly product line in 2020.
  • Where can I find pricing?
    We have a quote form on our website that can filled out in a couple of minutes and you will receive a quote in 24hrs or less. Or you can always shoot an email to our sales team at Sales@verifyenergy.com.
  • Where is Verify Energy Located?
    We are a fully remote team based mostly in Northern California.
  • Where are you approved as a QRE for RECs reporting?
    We are currently approved in the WREGIS territory which handles most of the Western US. We are currently pursuing QRE approval in the MRETS region and will add others as needed.
  • What is the relationship between Verify Energy & PowerFly?
    Verify Energy is the company that invented, developed and sells the PowerFly, our flagship commercial solar monitoring solution.
